On Sunday we were hosted by Latrobe Golf Club who welcomed us with open arms. Their Vice President told the rest of the Latrobe members of our shared 75 years history. Unfortunately we lost 5 – 1. Our number 1 Jack Ning showed his class having to give 5 shots and closed out his match 2&1 on the 17th. It was great to see the rest of the boys supporting Jack as he putted out on the 17th to claim our only win. Our youngest member is Brody Holland and apart from his infectious personality fought hard coming back from being 5 down to get to 2 down and eventually losing 3&2. Jack Blake, Daniel Semmens, Brody Wanless and Xavier Walmsley just could not get back into their matches after early setbacks. Next week is our last for the season as we will not make the finals but still have the opportunity to move off the bottom. We will be playing at home against Riversdale on Sunday. Tee off is 11.30 so if you are around the putting green or 1st tee please come and give your encouragement to the boys. Gary
